About the Supper Club
The Aioli Dinner Supper Club is inspired by artist George Rodrigue’s famous Aioli Dinner painting from 1971 depicting the Creole Gourmet Societies between 1870-1920. Each Aioli Dinner dinner will be a multi-course culinary experience with an emphasis on French cuisine from the era of the Creole Gourmet Societies with a contemporary twist. These “pop-up” dinners will continue throughout Louisiana, so be on the lookout and sign up for the latest news.
The George Rodrigue Foundation of the Arts (GRFA) was founded by George Rodrigue (1945-2013) in 2009 with a mission of encouraging youth development through the arts in education. Since its founding, GRFA has provided $630,000 in college scholarships to over 250 Louisiana students through the Annual Scholarship Art & Songwriting Contest; awarded over $230,000 in art supplies to schools with little to no visual arts funding though George’s Art Closet; and helped numerous non-profits achieve their fundraising goals through the donation of George Rodrigue prints through our Print Donation Program.
